Another question if I may. How would one accomplish a domain poiting to anther domain+directory?

IE. www.domail.tld which points to www.domain.tld/directory

I had a request for this the other day.

This is not something you do with DNS. Think about it: it only makes sense in a web browser. A "directory" doesn't make sense if you're attempting to (for example) ping www.domain.tld.

So the place where you would make such a change is in the web server. Tell it to issue redirects from one location/URL to another.
