Does Postfix support 64bit platform ?

Dear Sir,

I have plan to install Postfix to RHEL x86_64 because of more power in 
transferring messages of this software.

I like to install it by source code (.tar.gz) because it has more options, but 
hesitate it can support 64bit or can not.


Does Postfix support 64bit with installation by source code ?
