I can't parse this. What does the MUA have to do with it? All the
signing is done by the outgoing MTA. There have been discussions and
solutions proffered for MTAs signing for other MTAs, but that's not what
you are getting at.
As I said, I haven't had time to really understand this yet. All I know at
this point is that mail sent from my Kmail generally validates and mail sent
via my Treo through the same MTA to the same MX does not. I suspect it's
there's a data conversion somewhere in the path and the two MUAs format
differently.
It's somewhere near the top of my TODO, I just haven't gotten to it yet.
