TFM says in part:In the case of SMTP, specify a domain name, hostname, hostname:port, [hostname]:port, [hostaddress] or [hostaddress]:port. So it appears the use of an alternate port is specifically documented.But it seems that enough people overlook the text that adding another example would help. --Noel Jones |
