Postfix logs this and other information so that it will be easier
to trouble shoot the (mail) system, despite the possibility that
it allows bad people to flood the disk. Consider that it was written
only a few years after I wrote the TCP Wrapper.

Configurable logging has been on the todo list for about as long
as Postfix exists.
